Synopsis
The cosmic beacon emitted by the ancient relics has finally been answered and the ghosts of the past refuse to stay buried. Shang Chi 2 The Golden Empire finds our hero Shang Chi struggling to maintain a sense of balance between his newfound god like abilities and the quiet normal life he desperately wants to lead in San Francisco. However his peace is short lived. The mysterious signal sent out by the Ten Rings has attracted the attention of a terrifying cosmic warlord known as the Iron Hand. This new adversary seeks to claim the rings for himself forcing Shang Chi to return to the hidden world of shadows he thought he had escaped forever.
This time the most significant danger lies closer to home than he ever imagined. His sister Xialing has fully embraced her role as the leader of the Ten Rings organization. Under her command she has transformed the group into a modern and high tech empire of elite assassins completely defying her brothers wishes for a peaceful legacy. As ancient dragons begin to stir and the mystical barrier protecting the realm of Ta Lo grows dangerously weak the two siblings must navigate a tense and bitter rivalry. They are forced to decide if they can trust one another long enough to protect their family name from total annihilation.
